Building Competitive Business Organizations
Tuesday, November 19, 2024 | 9:00 – 11:00 am PT | via Zoom
with Greg Scharnagl, CEO of The Aji Advantage
Please RSVP by noon PT on Friday, November 15.
The Networks of Capabilities meetings focus on increasing businesspeople’s Sales, Design, and Leadership Capabilities so that they can build IR#4 Networks of Capabilities (NWC) and fulfill their financial, career, and business intentions.
This is Part #6 of The Aji Source Fundamental Strategy. It is a strategic focus and “Source of Power” businesspeople use to double their productivity, value and income.
IR#4’s NWC are a new strategic and competitive practice that is made possible by the existence of computers and the internet.
They are twice as competitive as IR#3’s Networks of Convenience.
When customers, employers, employees or colleagues assess an organization, they seek to interpret its trustworthiness and value, and that of its leaders.
Trustworthiness is a well-grounded speculation about how an individual’s or group’s arrangements of offers, commitments and skills will affect an observer’s concerns, situations or actions.
Fundamental concerns of trustworthiness are sincerity, competence, reliability and dignity.
Value is an assessment about the importance, utility and worth of a person’s or group’s arrangements of offers, commitments and practices or skills to take care of concerns or produce situations that enable an observer to avoid threats, fulfill obligations and exploit opportunities.
To be of high value, business organizations must produce “marginal utilities” and be “owned” so that supply is scarce relative to demand.
The fundamental interpretation customers, employers, employees and colleagues make about a business organization and its leaders is about their capacities to affect situations, concerns and actions.
They do not assess value if an organization’s capacities to be trusted and its effects are common. Instead they “price” offers, commitments and practices.
In the meeting, we will discuss leadership roles and the five forms of capital required to produce powerful business organizations. We will work on practices for arranging offers, practices, narratives and strategies to build trust with your customers and double your productivity, value and income.
We will break into groups where you can think and invent with distinctions to (1) deconstruct your competitors’ business organizations, (2) diagnose your own business organization for structures that might be missing, weak, flawed or incomplete, and (3) design new commitments to increase productivity and value, and make money.
This meeting is for current aji.com subscribers and their guests.
