FBC #4 – Technology [1 page]
An Executive Concern: Business Owners and Executives
IR#3’s Cartesian business philosophy says computers, or devices, are technology. They are not. They are “things”.
In IR#4, or when using “Aji”, technology is only human practices.
This means “computer technology” is actually two completely different technologies and only one of them is relevant in “Aji” or to businesspeople’s financial, career and business concerns.
The first meaning of “computer technology” is the set or array of human practices invented and used to produce computers.
The second meaning of “computer technology” is knowing how to use computers and the internet in the marketplace to earn a living or become rich.
This is “Aji”.
It is a new way to think and act with computers and the internet. It enables businesspeople to fulfill their financial, career and business intentions.
Technology is “financial” because “Aji’s” IR#4 Strategic and Competitive Knowledge enables businesspeople and businesses to double their productivity, value and incomes.
It is “strategic” because computers and the internet can be used to design, execute and improve strategies, or action plans.
It is “competitive” because computers and the internet can be used to produce and increase competitive capabilities and advantages, productivity and value.
